In layman terms can someone explain how Muriatic Acid kills mould spores.
Or does it? And if not, why not.

muriatic acid is hydrochloric acid, and will change the structure of just about anything it comes in contact with if the concentration is high enough. so sure, it'll kill mold.

I also wonder how mold and rust are related? Why the presence of mold on metal causes it to corrode?
