Title: What are really good options for treating Clinical Depression?
Post by: SpaceShouldBeMilitarized on 10/11/2010 20:26:48
Is depression simply the inability of our neurons to store serotonin?  What are the best options for one to treat it?  Perhaps a combination of Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, Fish Oil supplements, diet modifications, talk therapy and meditation?  I was wondering people's thoughts on this.

Adderall works great.  It lets you concentrate on something, which makes you forget about the depression.  Also, transcendental meditation.  TM is not easy to learn, but when you do it's amazing.  It frees the mind from the body and the mind floats free instead of laboring under the weight of the body.  Also, the body becomes free and every muscle goes into complete relaxation.
