Title: DNA Database

Their have been calls for everyone in the UK to hand over a sample of there DNA for the police database . A top judge has called for everyone to be made to give a sample as it will help the police to track down Law breakers.

I don't think this is right,i have committed no crimes and would do everything in my power to prevent them from getting my sample.

What do you think, would you hand over your DNA.

Is it Big brother state going too far and infringing on our civil liabilities again.

In principal i have no problem with a DNA Database. What i do see as a problem is the fact that the UK Gov. are totally useless at IT systems, also it would initially or eventually be sold out to a private company to run. That i would not like.

DNA Database, run by a competant government with a "proper" it system that come in on budget, no problem. Ok that's pie in the sky.

I know, but there is not option that says "yes, if the gov. were competant to run the i.t. system"
