an organism speeds up its' life cycle and stops trying to improve itself. Its' main focus becomes greater consumption to reproduce faster before it ceases to exist.
The organism known as Human has reached this state.

where do these people come from, seriously?

Thank you for pointing out my grammatical inconsisitencies and my pointless warning. Wrong forum, my bad.
These people can be found outside your door, seriously...

Sam7's question is a valid one. The general trend is towards reproducing fewer children later in life. The world average Crude Birth Rate (CBR) is falling year on year.
Where do you draw you statistics from? Are you looking at a specific country?

Not only the valid points brought up by Colin2B, but also consider that the organism known as Humanity, is itself evolving at a rate that nature has never before seen.

Not to mention genetic engineering is right around the corner.
While we're on the subject, I might as well raise the point of sequential reproduction. Will artificial intelligence, or organisms produced the result of scientific endeavor, be considered our children?
On the one hand, their creation is the result of an unbroken chain of events via us. On the other hand, the reward part of our brain tells us it's not our biological child. Logically speaking, there is no real difference aside from passing on genetic code.

Specifically, the Western Human is now presenting its young in provocative clothing that is amplified by media attention. As the birth rate falls, the Human organism looks to breed earlier.

Apophis will reduce the numbers .. plus a few other calamities, in relatively short order. The game is becoming Save Yourself .. the rest is hopeless.

Exactly. Natural disasters are ever a looming proposition.
Yellowstone supervolcano looks set to set off a chain of eruptions that will plunge the world into total darkness. It is overdue to erupt and has shown recent signs of activity. Among other potential and very real disasters are:
Oceanic methane gas release
Asteroids/meteors
Nuclear war
Virus/viral warfare
Alien intervention (more real than some might think)
So I personally do not see this population boom to be a problem. Humanity nearly died out to a smaller eruption not so long ago. We have a big challenge ahead of us just to stay alive.
Evolution occurs fastest at larger populations anyway, as there are increased chances for mutation. Talents arises from the most unlikely of circumstances. Eugenics failed to take off for a reason.

Please provide your source of statistics to demonstrate this.
Current trends are towards breeding later in life.

I have no stats Colin2B. Just hypothesizing all organisms are stressed and that will result in a shorter life cycle . Procreation will attempt to happen earlier in in this cycle regardless of populations.
