What configuration air cleaner will clean phenols out of the air? Just read where CFL bulbs emit phenols......thanx

I doubt the emissions are high.  Probably not high enough to pick out above background in a house.  Do the electronic circuit boards emit the gasses?  Then what about your radio, TV, microwave, and anything else with a circuit board?

An Activated Carbon air filter should knock most of them out.  If you have a centralized furnace that you run in Fan or AC mode in the summer, you could just put the carbon filter in place of the normal furnace filter.

Phenols stink. If you are not bothered by the smell then there's not enough of them to worry about: if you are then a charcoal filter will trap them.

Sorry to hear that, but it was more likely to have been caused by pollen than by phenol.

HEPA would help for particulates and pollen.

You need a carbon/charcoal filter for chemicals.
