Title: is it worth me getting some of those newfangled spectacles?

the ones for colourblind people?

has anybody tried the corrective lenses that are now apparently available for dichromats or anomalous trichromats?

do they work at all?

whats it like?

and how can i get me some of those, maybe not to buy, but just to try out?

I thought your question may have been about coloured "Irlen" spectacle lenses as a treatment for dyslexia..

I'd heard of pince-nez (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pince-nez), but not pierced-nez.
