Title: Pogoplug cloud

I have a Pogoplug micro server and with it comes 5GB of cloud storage, where is this stored and in what manner is it held, on HDD,s initially then transferred to tape or does it stay on HDD

If you can download the data instantly (i.e. in seconds rather than hours) then it cannot just be on tape.

[ I did try Google "drive" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_drive) cloud storage (5Gb free) and found it to be reliable, but I wouldn't trust their security (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_drive#Data_safety_and_privacy) and encrypt the files which are backed up on their "cloud" storage (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-ways-to-securely-encrypt-your-files-in-the-cloud/) ]
