Title: Is it true that the Chilean quake affected Earth's rotation?

There have been claims circulating that the quake in Chile has affected the Earth's speed and axis of rotation; other, probably more accurate, reports have suggested that the Earth's precessional wobble has been altered.

What's the correct story?
