Title: Tamiflu- Killer or Savior
Post by: shauvik on 18/01/2006 05:27:08
12 people have died in Japan who had taken Tamiflu. There have been 32 reported cases of people developing psychiatric problems after taking Tamiflu. Pressures from school and work have been blamed for most of that.
11.6 million People in Japan received Tamiflu in the years 2001-2005 and 24 million in total.

But let's be generous to your cause and say that they were all, indeed, caused by Tamiflu. That's 42 cases of side-effects in total out of a total of 24 million people - 1:571,428. How many would have died from flu had they not been given Tamiflu (http://www.checkflu.com)? Quite possibly many more than that.

Taking Tamiflu does not guarantee that you won't be get flu - it just reduces the risk. If someone dies of flu-like symptoms after having been given Tamiflu you would need a post mortem examination to establish the precise cause.

You have lifted 1 of my replies to another thread ("TAMIFLU JAB KILLS 12 KIDS - ALERT" - posted by esecallum on 19th dec 2005; my reply posted same date) & posted it here word for word with a few sentences removed (apart from the last paragraph which is not mine). May I ask why you did that?

Sorry DoctorBeaver, may be you got it misinterpreted, actually, i got it from some news site, and my intension was to generate this awareness amongst people about Tamiflu, and hence this posting, may be, it clashed with the same piece of content you ,might have also posted here, of which i didn't had any clue, whatsover, i didn' meant any offence.
