Can someone please help me with these questions please?
1.Write the ground state electron configuration for an arsenic atom, showing the number of electrons in each subshell.
2.Give one permissible set of four quantum numbers for each of the outermost electrons in a single As atom when it is in its ground state.
3.Is an isolated arsenic atom in the ground state paramagnetic or diamagnetic? Explain briefly.
4.Explain how the electron configuration of the arsenic atom in the ground state is consistent with the existence of the following known compounds: Na3As, AsCl3, and AsF5.

Atomic theory: a new idea!
a curious coincidence is the relationship among number of nucleons of the neon (20, 10 protons + 10 neutrons) and the number of tetrahedron packing of the icosahedra (20).

Why do we get so many more Chemistry students asking us to do do their work for them than Biology and Physics students?

For Q2 I presume that they are asking for the 4p3 electrons
n=4 l=1 m1=-1 ms=+1/2
n=4 l=1 m1=0 ms=+1/2
n=4 l=1 m1=+1 ms=+1/2

To be honest I've got know idea why that is (or even if its correct [???])

For Q4
Arsenic has 5 valence electrons, with 1 lone pair that isn't involved in bonding. Sodium donates one elctron each, so Na3As has an octet.
Same with AsCl3, the chlorines all donates one elctron each so AsCl3 has an octet. For AsF5 , arsenic can have an extended octet and so can 'hold' 10 electron, each of the five valence electons is involved in bonding.
