Title: Getting up times ! (for WEEK days)
Post by: neilep on 15/10/2007 09:43:37
It would also help me greatly if you could let me know whether after a short while if you are fully wide awake and ' full of beans '?

The reason I ask is that I was out this morning at 7:45am and it amazes me how most of the world seems to be up and about too !

Are they happily wide awake ........or do they need a few hours and a few coffees to become  "human" ?

If you could explain how this works for you then this would be great......

I suppose I just want to know if the state of ' Morning 'is upbeat or not....

..for me...most decidedly unequivocally it's the most depressing withdrawn part of the day !!!

&;30 AM is late for me that would have to be considered sleeping in.. when I was younger and pregnant I remember several time sleeping 12 hours and staying in bed till noon if I wanted I was not a morning person at all then.. babies were asleep so was I, hard to sleep in between kids schedules. Now i never now but I love birds singing. I wait to hear it in the morning . sometimes it helps me too sleep when I couldn't so if I find a window with a nice bird tune that helps me sleep!

Eugh. Mornings.
I (aim to) get up between 8 and 8:30. When I'm ill I have problems because I always feel so under-the-weather in the morning that I expect it and I tend to get to the lab before I realise that I'm actually not going to get anything constructive done beyond sharing whatever bug I've picked up round the lab/office.
This may be to do with when I get to bed, of course... before midnight is an early night round here at the moment.

I briefly wake up at 6:30 to get Nic out of bed, then I TRY and lie back down.  Usually it isn't possible cos hubby is just SUCH a morning person and loves playing with the dogs then.  I'm not a morning person and am easily annoyed..especially if Hubby is acting like Mr. Harry Sunshine. I don't want to be bothered or even spoken to until I've been up for 20 minutes or so.

Usually, if I just get up and start my morning ritual...brushing teeth, washing face, hair....then I'm in a much better mood.

6 most mornings - which is much better than a year ago when I had to get up at 4.50 most mornings. Getting up before 10am is really, really horrible at this time of year. I definitely get a strong urge to hibernate. Am thinking of looking into getting some daylight bulbs. Anyone use them? Do they work? Where can they be got? Expensive?

Thanks.

Perhaps everyone gets up at something :45 so their only option would be "other".
That might explain why they are not filling in the poll.

I like it! It reminds me of my grandmas basket of recycled thread she would remove from old clothing before she cut it into quilt blocks and crazy quilt squares. LOL! She undid every seem saving all the threads buttons zippers etc. but there would be tons of different colored threads swirled in a big basket and every couple months she would go to the old wooden spool barrel and take out the thread and re-wrap all the threads on individual spools for reuse! LOL That was done during the war and she did it through 1975.. LOL

Quote
Pollock was born in Cody, Wyoming in 1912,[1] the youngest of five sons.

I didn't like him much after he did 'Thriller', anyway.

His brother, Jackson Gervais was on the last Celebrity Big Brother...
