Title: medications to be taken with food.

Why do you have to take some medication either with food, or an hour before. Why does this matter?

So it does not irritate your stomach the food coats your stomach when the particular pill is rather harsh on sensitive stomach tissue. Some are just better digested I think with food. sort of the same reason.. Perhaps some are more effective alone also!

Also, food might stimulate digestive juices that might help absorb the pill.
