Title: Math, neurology, and electrophysiology

Hi,

I'm an appplied mathematics major working at UCLA. Since I am still an undergrad I can't contribute much to my lab other than certain business programming skills. My director's allow me to puruse my own interests and I ran out of ideas. I consider myself a certain specialist in user interface and wanted to know if anyone has an idea of a project I should pursue that requires graphical programming or math. I would like this project to apply to Neurology or at least medecine :). Thanks for any tips.

I also forgot. I started ScienceRate (dot) com for article collaboration and would like my next project to be a little more mathematically rigerous.

Not sure there are any magic answers - you will have to tell us about the kind of things that interest you, and no doubt in the telling, the idea will probably hit you before it hits us.

When you are talking about 'graphical programming', do you mean graphical in the networking sense (e.g. connecting nodes), or graphical in the GUI sense?
