For the most part -- Alzheimer's, just like heart attacks, strokes, and impotence, are the result of cholesterol clogging our arteries. Stop eating high-cholesterol foods (eggs, meat), and your risk of these disease will drop precipitously. (Of course it isn't just the cholesterol, but several other factors in these foods that create inflammation, which then the cholesterol builds up)

You're confusing Alzheimer's with vascular dementia (https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=161).

Stop eating high-cholesterol foods (eggs, meat)
Dietary cholesterol makes little difference to serum (blood) cholesterol because the body makes cholesterol itself. The strongest determinant of blood cholesterol is the intake of dietary fat.
