Title: How can we stop the Oil leak in the Gulf?
Post by: Joe L. Ogan on 14/06/2010 21:17:07
How can we stop the oil leak in the Gulf.  Someone needs to come up with a new idea to stop the oil leak.  It is rather obvious that BP can not solve the problem.  They keep trying a variation of the same idea which does not lend credence to a high degree of intelligence.  With all of the brain power displayed in this forum, it seems logical that some of you have an idea how to stop the leak.  Let us hear it guys.  Thanks for comments.  Joe L. I find it a bit peculiar that so many people, without any experience and little actual knowledge of the conditions, think they know more than those who do.

Hold on there, I have to get back to you on that, I need to explore, do some research, to find something related to your well rounded insinuative, derogatory, statement.

If I read  it as a question it is a valid one!
Since words can express, the toughest part is to arrange them in a preaches order.
I know I am not the sharpest knife in the draw, but when I was young, I was told I had a sharp tongue, and was scolded for it. Ouch!

I could not find the specifics, so please accept my deepest,  what ever...

I find it a bit peculiar that so many people, with much experience, possess little real actual knowledge on how to convolute their thinking and apply it, who thinks they know more than those others, they think don't!

I did not think I had to point this out. Since there are only 3 people here, one of us must have tripped your trigger!
The original subject here, is stated in a question form, or was in a form of a question, which ever way you wish, is better, to interpret this statement.

The two links in my previous thread redirected to express, to where there was some form of an answer, or the answer was in the form of two links, which ever way you wish to interpret this statement! They all are just a suggestion to give an idea.

These redirected links pointed to related topics with several threads of different individuals ideas and concerns, which imply the questions, “why, how come, think this will work, will that work, do you think?”

Some of these ideas may be read by someone much closer to the solution for this tragedy, other than us!
Maybe even give the slight inclining of inspiration. Who knows!

Most of the time it is usually the least knowledgeable, lab assistant who has the freshest outlook that can see the basics more clear, that brings success to a long and drawn out search!
Maybe, the kid on the corner selling Newspapers provides some inspiration.
Acoms Razor! To answer your question, I need to ask a question implicitly, "Why?"

If you restrict thinking to absolutes, we can look at the history channel for our results
Ideas, brain storming, thinking of things never reached, with no inclination of how to reach it or what is needed to reach it, where would we be today? Oh shoot, I was not thinking here!
Well there is no joking about it, maybe we would be better off!

Arguably, it might be said that "those who do", (in BP and the US government) have a lot to learn. Anyway, I really don't think people are trying to outsmart the experts in the field. I think they are genuinely concerned by the situation and trying to help as best they can. Sometimes a bit of "unconventional wisdom" stimulates some good ideas.

Darn it Geezer you said it in a few words.
I had to paint a picture!
To top it off you got it pasted/posted it before I had a chance to splash my final brush stroke!
You are truely a man of few words!
Thank you
