Why are you awake at 5 a.m.!?!
Get some sleep!
-
Huh?
It's still yesterday here- at least relative to your wide-awake early morning hour. [::)]
-
Insomnia night, methinks.
-
Well your maths has deserted you.

Well, it could be that your son decided to wake you up at 02:48 to say that he couldn't sleep, then you put him back to bed, take an hour to get back into "going to sleep mode" and are just on the verge of dropping off when he comes in again at 03:54 to say that he's worried about the stars and why they explode. He's 5, you understand. So I got back to sleep just as you were writing your post, DB!
Pass the coffee!

I suffer the same occasionally...and try and force myself back to sleep, and then get annoyed that I can'r sleep, and the cycle continues until about 30 mins before my alarm goes off and then I will nod off!!
I really should get up and do soemthing, like post on here!

It does help...better then watchinh the numbers tick away on the clock...best to be productive for me..anyway.

I am always awake between four and half five in the mrning, no matter how early or how late I got to bed, and no matter what day of the week it is. Years ago I used to have first time muummies awake with their first borns ringing me up by half five for a chat cos they knew i would be awake. (only first time mummies I knew well of course).
-
This sounds very suspicious! How did you know so many first time Mummies? You have raised lots of questions with this post. What's the story, morning glory!?
