In a dark room, aim remote in question at your digital camera and push remotes button/s. You'll see a small dot of light on the cameras screen from remotes output. This worked on ALL my remotes, frequencies dont seem to matter. (I guess any IR freq's work)
[fwiw, I am a retired bulldozer operator! Dont be too harsh with me]
