Title: Have we passed the Van Allan Radiation Belt?

   Hi!
How come the Apollos passed the Van Allan Radiation Belt 50 years ago without problem but now scientistis are trying to work out a solution to pass them??

Which scientists? Or are you confusing the van Allen belts with interplanetary radiation?
