Title: Stemming the cells of destruction
Post by: Andrew K Fletcher on 30/04/2005 09:53:01
I find it hard to understand how someone could terminate the life of an as yet to be born child. To carry this burden of guilt for the rest of ones life is abhorrent.

The picture I posted on another thread tells the true cost of abortion, What age is the limit for terminating a child?

 http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=957&whichpage=7

In China, there is a massive miss-use of abortion procedures, due to their massive overpopulation problems. However, are they overpopulated because they have turned most of their land to desert over the centuries? And is bad land management now responsible for the deaths of so many perfectly normal children, when contraception would be the logical way to go?

In China, parents are allowed only one child.

I have heard stem cells discussed on these threads. How many people realise that China is leading the world in stem cell therapies for many neurological conditions? How many people realise that stem cells are derived from aborted babies?
How many people realise that China is farming stem cells from her own children?

The world has gone completely mad. Frankenstein pales into insignificance when compared to what is happening in China today.

There are many people already traveling from the West to have stem cells injected into their spines, for a whole range of medical conditions, including spinal cord injuries. This to me at least seems like a barbaric act of human canibalism. While China's economy gets a massive boost from her trade in human flesh.

Thanks Andrew great post and picture. When I first saw the picture my thought was...great another murdered baby... and then as I read, I realized that the doctor was saving the life not taking it. Cathy

Thanks Cathy, thought it would have reached a few more people than it did, maybe the title did not strike a chord?
