Make sure you have a fast car and a amazing driver. Someone a bit like Jason Statham from The Transporter would be good

I haven't got one of me in my uniform, plus I don't have the means to do so I'm afraid.

It's nothing exciting though, just black trousers white shirt black tie. In fact it always looks like I should be going to a funeral [?]

However I have to send my measurements to the office to get a new uniform.....I'm jumping for joy, honest [V]

Do security over by you have weapons?

There are different types of security...the properties I work at here do not require much, but we do have some where we have a "courtesy patrol officer" Dependent upon crime rate in area and guess who determines that....moi! LOL  I have to deal with all reports and etc...police calls...the numbers count..

I don't actually know any form of martial arts, my cousin and I used to do Karate when we were younger. But we got picked on by a girl called Michelle. But I'm being nice by calling her a girl, she was in fact the anti anti christ, she was pure evil in pj's. So we left and never went back. I did try jujitsu and came away with some knowledge on how to use a kubotan. You can put people into holds and disarm them with one of these bad boys. Mine is called Betty, she looks something like this

(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bytomic.com%2Fimages%2Fproducts%2Fkubotan.jpg&hash=f38dfe26c8ff3ee2e336cf16c642058d)

I'm not overly sure if I am allowed to carry one but I'm not working in the area I do with out one.

Hmmm, maybe try a new form of weapon on those bad boys..hehe  verbalize them down with real cut forming words...talk about their bodyparts and dehumanize them to mud...or you could sing and dance for them...until they leave and quit bothering you...when you are finished with the song and dance...stick your finger up close to your lips and blow on it like a gun smoking!

I don't actually go in for the kill. The best way to deal with a situation is to talk it through. Too many times I have seen a guard get very aggressive and for no reason, it just caused more problems and the other guy getting aggressive. Now the best way is to talk to the person like you would with anyone else. Only raise your voice if you have to, otherwise just keep it friendly like.....well that's what I do anyway

Title: Re: The perfect get away!
Post by: Mirage on 15/09/2006 20:16:01
Definitely

To be honest I see it that you need to have a cool head, you can make matters worse if you are aggressive. I've come across a lot of unsavoury characters. One that really got my heart pumping was this guy who was high on something. He could hardly move but sometimes they do surprise you. I had been trying to move this guy on for a while, kept on going out and asking him to move on, then I told him again and said that I would give him a few minutes to get himself sorted. He started to gather up his belongings while I stood there, and then he pulled out a needle, this made my heart jump and so I moved back a bit slowly. He noticed this and said don't worry mate, I'm not going to use it on you. Although I didn't really expect that he would there was always the chance that he would in my mind.
In the end though he was a pretty cool guy, someone who has probably lost everything they had and turned to drugs, or drugs could have been the reason. I never judge them, I don't know what they have been through, so that's why I will always remain friendly to them unless they turn aggressive first.

I have to look out for the staff, so I can't have an aggressive person causing trouble. It's just the way things go I guess

All true bikers have to go there at least once before they die it holds the sprite of pure motorcycle racing. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world.

Hadrian, the fireblade is a gorgeous bike, also the Triumph Daytona, the Ducati Monster S2R, Ducati Monster 620 (very sexy)and then you have one of my all time favourites, the BMW R1200C which just oozes sex, it was also the motorbike that James bond used in Tomorrow Never Dies.

Yea, I like the supper bikes best. I am not much into choppers touring bikes. To me the whole point is speed and power. Can see why else you would get on one. I am luckily that I have the shape I do I got short legs and long body it fits the Blade perfect. I can go all day on one and not get tired.

The Ducati is cool but the Honda is so reliable and lasts and lasts. The Italian bikes are beautiful to look at but they can give a very inconsistent ride from bike to bike even in the same model and year.  You really need an experienced mechanic to set them up and keep them sweet, and all this adds to the cost of running them apart from there higher purchasing price.  I don’t think it worth it.

I prefer to ride the bike then look at it and when you on its all about performance. I could not care less what others thing about my bike. In fact I prefer the get the least attention I can. It’s on the track or the road that you find what a bike all about. Looks are only faring deep. One might laugh or turn up there nose at the mass-produced Hondas or other Japanese Bikes but the do just what they say they do. I had a 1992 original Blade a couple of years ago it was every bit as good as the day it was built. In fact it was better with the new tyres we have now and the jets  and pipes I put on it. it was well able of 160 mph plus. A bike over ten years old.

I had a motorbike for a couple of years.  Going down did not worry me (I'd fallen off horses before, and it is no worse).  What scared me was when I got side swiped by a car, and I realised that if he had impacted me a fraction of a second earlier my left leg would have been in several more pieces than it was designed to be – that was when I gave up riding motorcycles.

I have known several people who like riding motorcycles, and although some have never been in a serious accident, there are a good few that are carrying a fair amount of metal where bone should be (must make for fun at airport security checks).

Ninja is very good bike indeed extremely fast. Only a few riders can or will ever get to use the top end it offers on the road. Its not as smooth in delivery as the blade and catch you out is the over do it. Unlike the blade its not as forgiving so is a more demanding bike for most riders. If you want a constant challenge then is has it on tap. You can ride the blade like a ***** cat ( only in the usa is a house cat a dirty word p u s s y cat ) or turn it into a Cheetah with out to much danger it will do something silly on you.

I also like the YZF-R1 it’s the only bike I would take over the blade except it’s not as comfortable for me to ride but is a more nimble ride, quicker in and out of corners and get on the power very fast. In the right hands it hard the beat on the road because of this. But then there you have it so much comes down to the rider style and there skill.

Of course there are some out and out racers on the market that offer fantastic track performance but make terrible road bikes like the Ducati 999. So powerful coming out of corners and very quick to stop they are a joy to use on a track. But on the road they make you ache all over after an hour and in slow traffic you just want to get off and walk.  Just like the monster too.

Bike are great. A mate of mine used to have this Italian bike, I'm calling it Italian because I'm sure it was an Italian make, just can't remember what it was. Anywho, it was a beast, he gave me a lift on it one time, I was scared s***less holding onto the bar at the back while he was doing wheelies. It was fun though [:)]

I have been on a few of them. They are a fast and reliable bike. I personally don’t like the ride because you are always sitting upright like on a chopper. So you get blasted on long rides or if you open it up. I got a sore neck once from riding one to hard, but to those who don’t mind this they are very powerful and fun the drive.

Cool Beans Just right for me as I wouldn't know how to haandle a bigger one!

I remember when I was coming back from New York, the blast metal detector kept on going off.......I think the woman was near to telling me to pull my trousers down, it was my belt buckle in the end [V] [;)]

The emperor a fish eh! I like the rain ok, but not when its been raininhg non stop for 10 months and here in Northern california up top, thats what we get some years, we are fortunate thes last couple years if it doesnt start until October 30th and go through June!! Used to be Oct. 30th through mid may, but we are getting more every year.. I do't like to be soaked and in it all the time, but a light rain is pleasant to walk in.. I don't have suitable clothing for heavy rain... I guess these days I could fit into raingear where as before no chance, so thats a possitive thought!!
