Hi folks , Weirdest thing ever heard . I wonder if yeast can be used in any form to convert blood glucose to alcohol or sort of thing in the body internally ?

Your intestines are anaerobic, and yeast is a member of your normal flora (in small numbers.). Under anaerobic conditions, yeast need to ferment, to grow.

So it seems likely that yeast are indeed making fermentation products in your guts, though whether alcohol is a product is not a foregone conclusion. Also not certain that these prioducts would get into your bloodstream in any quantities. Obviously it's not happening in any measurable quantity!

That's my best guess, anyway.
