Title: shape of the sun

oval, hexagon, clearly round, which one?

the old people said that sun's shape is having 6 sides.
so what do you think about shape of the sun, or it is just looks
like as seen through the telescope.

if sun is hydrogen ball then why don't it disperse away?

if we are saying that sun is having a great mass, then where the
waste materials rests in which place of the sun? [:)]

It is approximately a sphere, a slightly flattened top to bottom (oblate) sphere. We would have noticed if it had 6 sides...

If you took a small quantity of solar matter and put it in space, it would disperse. However it doesn't disperse away because the mass of the hydrogen and helium  produces enough gravity to hold it together. Essentially the same reason the atmosphere doesn't disperse away.

I am not sure exactly where the waste materials rest in the sun. Possibly with a slightly higher concentration nearer the centre as they are more dense that hydrogen.
