Dafi Zulberg asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi Chris

I am concerned about a cell mast near my home. Would you say it's safe to stay or should I move pls?

Thx

Regards
Dafi Zulberg

Shouldn't worry too much, although some people will hype this up, there's actually no strong evidence that it does any harm.

There are evidence, amongst them Swedish, that mobile phones can penetrate the blood barrier separating the brain from the skull. As for if there is a real danger to that I'm not sure, we live in a EM field our whole days. Let's see what science say in a hundred years :)

Eh, the radiation from them I meant. That the phones themselves can do so may be considered a fact too, in the wrong hands.
