Wine glasses apparently have a capacity between 120 to 410cc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine_glass#ISO_Wine_tasting_glass), and thus between 40 x 10²³ and 137 x 10²³ molecules of water.

Each molecule of water contains 3 atoms (two hydrogen, and one oxygen), so a wine glass contains between 120 and 410 x 10²³ atoms.

The world oceans contain about 1,300 million km³ of water (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_(molecule)#Water_on_Earth). There are 10¹² cc in 1km³; thus in 1,300 million km³ there are 1.3 x 10²¹ cc, which amounts to about 6 x 10¹⁸ wine glasses, which is about 2 million times smaller than the number of atoms in a wine glass.

What about moles?

A mole of any substance is the molecular weight of that substance in grams. Water has a molecular weight of 18.0 (16.0 for the oxygen and 1.0 for each hydrogen), so the mole-to-gram relation for water is 1 mole water = 18 g water.

100 grams of Water, equals 5.56 mole water.

Moles Don't live in water!
