Title: Do salts other than table salt taste salty ?

I want to ask that NaCl taste salty, does other salt taste salty as well say potassium chloride (KCl) ?

Dunno, but I've had something called LoSalt which is a different salt from NaCl It's supposed to be more healthy... That tasted about the same, same sensation as salt but a slightly different taste. [:D] yAy my posts suck.

Hey maybe someone who knows a lot about salt can tell me why salt is bad for you ... what exactly does it do in your body? Thanks.

I think there are two reasons - one is that your kidneys need to get rid of it, and another is that is increases the volume of blood when dissolved, which causes high blood pressure

yeh i just found out about that LoSALT stuff. It's 66% KCl and 33% NaCl...
