I just lurveeee diet A & W Rootbeer, or any diet root beer. Rootbeer, like jewelry, makes everything better!

I suppose it is available over here in diet form but the one shop I buy ot from only does the full blown non-diet version.

You can get Cream Soda in most supermarkets, tends to be own branded. I have bought it from Asda, Somerfield, Tesco, Morrisons.
It's nice with milk or big dolops of icecream. It can also be used to liven up fruit juice and smoothies. Actually, it is very versatile.

Don and Neil/sheepy thanks it does sound rather nice. So when I go food shopping tomorrow I will try purchase some. I will buy my favourite icecream as well, Devon Cream Vanilla Icecream

I do want to warn people that the Italian cream soda described in your first link is not the same thing that you find in the store. But it is very yummy!!
The second link tells you how to make cream soda like you find in the store. You can also buy kits to "brew" your own in beer-brewing shops. [;D] [;D]

I am sure it will go with Haggis....it is sweet !...Looking forward to hearing if you like it or not. remember, it's a vanilla flavour and is sweet. If you like those then you should love Sream Soda....though, that doesn't seem true in the case of of wifey and daughty !

When I was little, my late father used to tell me about (I don't remember him buying me one though) a Suffolk coast version of a Knickerbocker Glory that was fruit, cream and ice cream floating on lemonade in a tall glass - ice cream soda would lift this to a new level.
