Title: Human Animals?

Hey, i was wondering, say if my dog had some puppies, Could i bring up the dog like i would a human..Feed him baby food, etc? Then could i teach him to talk, so he would ead the life of a normal human? Thanks

A dog is metabolically and physiologically unlike a human, and could no more eat a human diet, or behave like a human, than it could eat or behave like a camel.

ukmicky, you missed out the point that dogs don't have puppies; bitches do, but I doubt it matters.

we already have atleast one talking dog.

From personal experience I can assure you that dogs can survive very well on the same diet as humans. Some years back I had a dog (spaniel x retriever) who ate mostly leftovers from our dinners and she lived to be 17.

I think they did this in Down and Out in Beverly Hills.  Nick Nolte had to show the dog how to be a dog.
