As for a breathalyser test, I wouldn't want to get too close to the fishy aroma that emerges from some felines. I'm sure your cat has lovely smelling breath, though.

I can't wait to get home and take some photos of Mossy in my car. My husband once drove half way to work before realising he was in his car. He thinks he can read the sat nav and programs in fish shops.

I did not force my cat into a magazine pocket. You try getting him out! He knows that the pocket is easy to defend as taking him out is harder. You can't grab his body, all you get is claw. He hates us going out without him and realises we can't go if he is in the car. It is a regular occurance, removing him from various hard to reach places.

Ummm...
I have a habit of leaving the windows down in my vehicles in the summer. The rain is pretty predictable in Oregon summers, but I did regularly get caught in Missouri where it would rain every other day.
Anyway, when visiting an uncle I had a neighbor cat get into my car and spray on the seat. After that, I always rolled up the windows in his neighborhood.
I think I could smell it for years after that incident. And, as long as I owned that car, I never thought of cute little cats sitting inside of cars.

Ewe are of course right and as a firm believer in empirical study I have a phone number for a mother.....I rang the number and spoke to my mum...thanked her for her valuable contribution then hung up on her.I confirm that mothers do live here. [;D]

I have a habit of leaving the windows down in my vehicles in the summer. The rain is pretty predictable in Oregon summers, but I did regularly get caught in Missouri where it would rain every other day.
Anyway, when visiting an uncle I had a neighbor cat get into my car and spray on the seat. After that, I always rolled up the windows in his neighborhood.
I think I could smell it for years after that incident. And, as long as I owned that car, I never thought of cute little cats sitting inside of cars.

Are ewe sure you don't mean the country of mothers? The recent news suggests there are a right lot of little mothers there.
I suggest BOTH of you check the spelling - it is "MUTHA" when referring to rowdies and other persons of whom one wishes to refer to in a derogatory or insulting manner.
(Old codgers can't even keep up with today's slang. mutter, mutter, mutter .........)

I regret to say that Deano will no longer appear as the star of' cat in a car'
He had to be put to sleep just a couple of hours ago. He was only 8.
