Very nice! Such a talented beaver!!
Thanks for sharing those Eth. I enjoyed all three, but I believe "For Charlotte" is my favorite.
-
The Charlotte in question is my friend's 10yo autistic daughter.
-
I am only half through the first one. Very nice Doc!
-
Thanks Carolyn & Karen [:X]
-
There are 3 albums altogether - Sirius Rising, Sirius Ascendent & Sirius Resplendent. I'm still working on the latter 2.
-
Thanks Carolyn & Karen [:X]
Your welcome Doc.. The first is really great.. I thought I would stagger them out and listen to it a bit at a time.. throughout this morning!

What you really mean is that you can't listen to much of it at a time [:(]

No Not at all... LOL My system seems to be downloading slow this morning.. I just now finished listening to Lilith and I liked it.. I like th e little chiming at the start and how it evolved and moved into the rhythm with all the instruments.. very cool. I like the end as a if i was hearing a wind storm fading out and moving past.. I liked it! It was very cool...

I am waiting for Charlotte to finish buffering now! LOL! [:)] [;)]

Close.
There is a train of mystical thought that Lilith was Adam's first wife & that it was she who appeared as the serpent to tempt eve. God laid a curse on her that she would suffer in childbirth and that all her children would die.
The ending is meant to represent their spirits howling on the wind.
(What a charming subject for a piece of music! lol)

That is very interesting as all I could think of was the wind blowing through and hearing it pass by..as if a turbulent storm had passed through and the last of the wind was stirring in remembrance of the storm... its very good.. I like music that is like that and the subject matter although I did not know that about your song, was great and fits exactly how the music felt. It was charming..
Charlotte was sweet and warm and curious almost! a feeling of closeness and serenity came with the music. Touching mellow sound. Intense but at the same time quiet and melancholy! Happy though! The beat seemed up like an outer spirit.. and sweet like an inner peace.. Very nice.. I like it a lot. I cannot choose a favorite they were all three very good doc! Very nice!

Thank you. I may post some more later. They're on the other PC so I'd have to fire that 1 up, transfer them to my external hard drive, and then post them.
The ones I've already posted I had on CD.

Has she listened to it?
I have a friend who has a 10 yo daughter with Aspergers. I've developed quite an affinity for her, possibly because her mother is VERY impatient & short with her. I think she's beautiful and refreshing...anyway, my point is that I'm thinking she would love all 3 of your songs.
-
Yes, Charlotte has heard it. Apparently she went skipping round the lounge lol
-
That is wonderful! She sounds so bright!! I have had wonderful experiences working with Autistic children..they are amazing to say the least!
-
Charlotte is profoundly autistic. She has no speech at all. But she is an absolute treasure.
-
I bet she is! Sounds like a beautiful child..full of life..!

You can say that again. She hardly ever stops.

HEE HEE HEE.. I love it! That is an amazing thing! She may lack her speech but her spiit sounds as if it speaks volumes on it's own.. That is wonderful!
-
Oh yes, she certainly has got a lot of spirit. And her tantrums are a work of art!
-
LOL LOL..She expresses her feelings quite well!

3 more, if anyone's interested.

Hi Doc - wasn't there a band "Sirius" who had an album "Rising"? I've not listened yet, but is there a link?

Karen, I meant a link between Sirius's Rising and Doc'S music, not electronic links to listen!
-
Stuart - no connection whatsoever

Nice one Doc! I should read up some more on Stephan Hawking.. I know little to nothing about him!
-
He's an amazing man. And despite the impression that track may convey, I have the utmost respect for him.
-
It is nice that you value him with such respect!
-
Thanks for sharing these too Eth! Very nice. I liked all of these too, especially funky scientist.
