I have one doubt [???]
The Sun is a star right?
Then there must be countless stars in the Universe and there may be infinite planets orbiting around that stars? So, at least one planet may contain animals..... [::)]

The Drake equation (also sometimes called the "Green Bank equation," the "Green Bank Formula" or – erroneously – the "Sagan equation") is an equation to calculate the potential number of extraterrestrial civilizations in our Milky Way galaxy. It is used in the fields of exobiology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exobiology) and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI).
This equation was devised by Dr. Frank Drake (now Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Cruz) in 1960, in an attempt to estimate the number of extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way (our galaxy) with which we might come into contact.

The currently accepted "lowest case scenario" for the number of stars in the Universe is 70 sextillion (7 x10^22).
So that narrows the numbers from "countless" a bit...

If there is a possibility of other life in the universe then perhaps some ufo's are real. If so they would have covered vast distances to visit us approaching light speed or exceeding it or they have an incredibly long life span. What if we are wrong and once you can control gravity you can travel at light speed.
