We give mice an dose of a substance at 3.0mg/kg. The compound comes in a 1g/1mL container. We add 3ul of the compound to 10mL of saline and then inject this solution into mice at .1cc/gram body weight.
I cannot figure out how this math translates to 3.0mg/kg. 3ul in 10mL is .3mg/ml and isn't this 300mg/kg and not 3mg/kg.
Please help explain if you can
THANK YOU!
