Title: Why has my voice lowered recently?
Post by: cproud on 18/02/2009 19:49:15
I have noticed that my singing voice range has lowered about a perfect fourth over the last year. Could this be due to hypothyroidism? I have a number of other symptoms that fit, but my TSH is normal and T4 and T3 are in the lower quartile of normal.

How're your eyebrows ? ...

The symptoms of adult hypothyroidism are dull facial expressions and a low-pitched and hoarse voice. Skin is often dry and scaly, cold, thickened and coarse. Hair may be scanty, coarse and brittle. Often eyebrows are greatly thinned or even partly missing.
