Dearest Global Peeps Of Cosmopolitan Pious Niceness and Goodness Light,
A special pillow ?..a special teddy ?..perhaps a blanky ?........
What can you not sleep without ?
Me ?..I have to have the radio on, usually a talking radio station and what ever the time of year I have to have a fan on !..LOL..we get through lots of fans as the family is picking up my habit..
and you ?..................and why ?...what's the special significance or special history of your special bed time necessities ?..(oooooh)

For years I could not sleep without the TV set turned on.. then I moved to the radio also. Now it is just hard no matter whats on..or off. I find I have to clear my head of stressful thoughts by concentrating on humorous memories or a face of some one I love or a funny event that may surround them.Must be no worries of money problems etc. or I can't sleep at all. I never had a blanky or anything like that, although I cannot sleep On a super hard pillow or too soft of a pillow and I have to have two pillows!LOL

Me has to have two pillows too...two to use when I'm reading...and when I try to sleep it's one for my head and one between my sheepy thighs !!
But, to be honest..my bed time is null and void most times !!...

I would go to bed after he passed out and turn the tv on and he was none the wiser. Now that he no longer drinks (1 year sober - YAAAAYYYYYY), it's impossible to do that, he immediately wakes up. So I've learned to sleep without it. I have to have the ceiling fan on, and usually have another room fan on, and always sleep better and feel safer when the stud muffin is home.

I cannot stand silence when I am trying to sleep! I want music or something on...
I used to have to sleep with a pillow between my thighs because I was waking with a back ache. I even slept with my leg over my hubbies hip for the longest time but that drove the guy nuts he doesn't like anything touching him at night!
So now there are no hips pillows ect. And I find my self curled up in semi fetal position one leg down and the other pulled upas if I were tring to climb something... Is that not weird or what!

Oh My gosh I am a chatterbox when I get tired. I need someone to talk to or something to listen to besides my brain which cannot disconnect long enough for me to go to sleep without chatter or noise.. I prefer radio or tv. I hate the sound of the still house creaking and moaning. Then theirs my brain which seems to be in overdrive.. tv and music help me relax and I turn the tv on first thing every day if I don't have the radio on first! I like some noise... Even with the worse migraine I have to have something on even softly!

Neil Doesn't everyone cuddle pillows! I like those big fluffy body pillows, you can wrap your legs and arms and everything around them Hmmmmmmmmm so comfyyyyyyyy!

I have to say I don;t have a special toy or blankey !..I used to...but when I hit 40 I decided to stop sucking my thumb and holding my ear and passed on my teddy and rabbit and elephant to my offspring...
When my bed is cold though I may pick up a one of the sleeping bra..errhm..children and place them in the bed for ten minutes and then with haste...return them to their own beddy dwelling and jump in to nice warm comfy layer !!.
(note to self: Neil...go back and tell them that you do not really use a child as a bed warmer !!..sheesh !!)

LOL LOL! You are too funny! In the dead of winter I like a electric Blanket as it gets in the 20's and I don't have gas or electric heat in the house, I have a wood burner stove in the other end of the house . It gets really nippy.. I grow Icecycles from the drips forming off my cold nose and eyebrows... Brrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhh!

The way I usually sleep is lying on my stomach with my right hand side of my face on the pillow with my right arm under it. I have on occasions hugged the pillow pretending it was you Neil [;)]
I do have a teddy, his name is Ted. I've had him all my life. He used to be my sisters teddy bear but she didn't like him so he became mine. He used to growl but I dropped him over the top of the stairs and he hasn't spoken to me since. I miss the sound of his growl. I might take him to the bear factory and ask them if they can do anything for him [;)]
I used to have a blanky when I was little. My dad used to wrap me up in it when he held me, I loved that blanky, no longer around though. Happy memories......well I don't remember my dad wrapping me up in the blanky, I was a baby then [;)]

I know how hard that is.. Dogs and kids are great when your alone.. I think that is always been the reason I have had pets and maybe my children...HEE HEE HEE! LOL NOT but they are great.. My son layed on my husbands sid e of the bed for several weeks so I could get used to sleeping alone... I still hate it! It's not fun Me thinks I have a fear of being alone at night.... weird d huh!
Well I am glad to hear they went hunting. Very nice tradition for thanks giving..All will be well. How are you three women fairing and how was your dinner?

For some reason I need something to be covering my eye or most of my face. It's like I need to hide from the dark in the dark itself.

My Pillows have to be just so in thickness. The new ones I bought are too hard and thick, I have never been able to find ones that were so firm. It just needs to be a hair thinner. Maybe I just need to break it in a bit more. I have risen from bed several days in a row with a migrain as my pillow is not right for sleeping!

Another thing I need when I first lay my head down and sleep is the cold side of the pillow

ME TOO!! Nothing worse then a Hot pillow even in the middle of the night! If it gets hot I have to flip it over!LOL

Yeah I do that to. I have about three pillow, I have the extra one because two of them are too thin for me, or anyone really. So I always have a spare cool pillow during the night, a slight bonus of sleeping on your own [;)]

I hate sleeping alone.. It's been very hard to get used too. I get very cold at night and I hate when my feet are cold I can't sleep at all! I have to heav the right amount of blankets, Its the weight thing.. Too little and I am uncomfortable.. It's gotten better over the years.. But still bothers me if I don't have enough blankets in the winter!

That is one of the things I miss about my ex, she was a great bed warmer. Although it didn't used to be like that. I didn't have a bed for ages and so was sleeping on a double air bed, well safe to say it didn't last that long as I would end up against the wall and on the floor with no quilt as my ex stole it all. I hated that thing.

I kept dropping off and waking up with a start so wasn't very nice. Didn't hit the sack until 7:30 this morning only to be woken up a few times between 11 and 12 by one of my housemates phoning me [>:(]

I think I made a semi smile today. I know what would make me smile, but there aren't really any girls here at work that I fancy. And before anyone tries to think of anything dodgy, the smile would come from seeing them and saying hi.......with a bit of flirting as well of course [;)]

Sorry - missed this. The bugger got home around 12:30 today. He went hunting and had a grand ole time and all I got was this blasted cold. I shouldn't complain, he did prepare dinner and served it to me in bed. He's probably just buttering me up so he can go hunting again next week.

All the silly gadgets and fun stuff! Even better, all the grumpy guses who are grumbling while shopping , because they want to get their loved one something cool!! HAHA. Me sarcastic? She makes us both look bad, I'm not a cheerful shopper either. I prefer online or QVC. But I applaud anyone that can go out in the crowds and remain happy. I have to go in person this weekend though. I accidentally broke one of Nics XBOX 360 games and I promised I would replace it. It couldn't of been one of the cheap ones either. Ughhhhh.
