The title says it all. Does mass cause a correlation of gravity attraction. Mass absorbs gravity into itself? Or does gravity pull the mass in?

What if gravity is actually a super dense section of antimatter and mater is being pulled in by it, but never touches it because of some kind of force be it their charges pulling each other. Repelling at the same time and the repel is stronger than the pull.
Black Holes are what happen when the the antimatter meets matter. The energy created from the collision causes the super massive gravitational pull. We cant observe into the event horizon, but what if the matter is being destroyed by the antimatter. Matter cant be destroyed, just converted. So what if matter and antimatter fuse, creating that super dense consistent pulling.
The end of the universe being the creation of super massive black holes that will devour each other until they combine back into the singularity which then explodes once it reaches that right formula to create another big bang?
quasars are the unbalance of the antimatter and matter, until they even out?
My theory have more holes than Swiss cheese?

1: If someone was able to come up with a quantum binary system with turning electrons on and off, couldn't we use them to bypass latency all together.
2: If you were able to do that, than wouldn't the bottleneck be how fast the processors could recognize and translate the consistent switching off and on of the electrons?
3: If we used these in a large scale to simulate specific tasks in a computer it would only depend on processing power and isn't there some kind of quantum storage system or maybe quantum processing that would make every single action instantaneous?
4: Could you use quantum entanglement as a source of energy transference? Charge one side and it charges the other? Mass power distribution, where specific functioning paired electrons were only used for powering our devices (no more plugging into outlets or charging batteries).
5: Just like any other computer, if you had software able to translate the binary system set in place, then you could get video, audio, and any other feat a normal computer can accomplish, but instantaneously without the problems of reception, latency, or degradation of signal.
ps: this is all for my SF book and I just wanted to know if I had my theory correct. Could you use anti-matter as the power source to charge these specific energy distributing electrons for clean energy?

I decided to switch off of a Direct Democratic Socialistic society to a Pure Republic Capitalist. Your thoughts on this?
Every x amount of years someone is placed with power and then there is then a set of cabinet that countermand and keep that person in check. There is a enforcement agency, who do you think they should be under or do you think they should also be separate from government influence (they are there only to uphold the law, be it politician or citizen)?
Should the people have the right to outvote a law if an x number of people vote against or for?
Anything else you can think of?

If the community participated in their decisions in joint union, while taking active roles in progressing a society as a whole. What are you thoughts on this?

Alright; so ironsand can be vibrated at frequencies (not very knowledgeable on the topic as i'm asking). If you manipulated electromagnetic fields by shooting a current through the ironsand and then manipulated it through magnetic's couldn't the current provide a violent enough vibration to cut through things if directed through the magnets?
Again; I have no idea on the topic, just a thought that is passing through my brain.
If this isn't possible, can you think of anything dealing with electromagnetic's that can cause this sort of phenomena?

I don't know which thread this would categorize under if at all on this site, but still wanted to pose the question!Another SF question, YET AGAIN. I would like to know other's opinions on specific social aspects. Background of the social class: This society is comprised of Espers, within my universe they are the most intellectual race. Having esp like abilities, (read some of my earlier posts to get a feel for them if you would like) they base most of their decisions on logic, therefore I want a unanimous symbiotic relation within their community. This society needs:- A complete social equality in voting, speaking, and finance.
- All residents may have differing difficulty of jobs, but in essence get paid the same (depending on skill set and necessity).
- Biokinetic's(Espers that have the ability to manipulate cellular activity in all biological aspects) act as a hospital, which in essence causes no disease.
- Energy is clean and sustained.
- A select group of extremely intelligent espers go through mass political petitions that govern laws within a logical fair manner. (Mainly enforced by a specific individual that is completely devoted to duty).
- Justice is given out within a logical methodical manner where the death penalty is given to anyone who is in enforcement of destroying their specific laws.
I know it sounds a bit far fetched and extreme, but what is your input on the matter; I would like negative and positive opinions on the matter. Ask questions about the society that might cause collapse and/or that I have missed, and slowly evolve this fantasy society broadening its perimeters.

A thought that I will need to study more scientifically in depth on; what about having someone able to shift density (tank)?
Advantages:
Intangibility (maybe?) Extreme Durability/Strength (weight behind him/her) Float or maybe even walk on air Maybe condense size or expand? Possibly even viscosity manipulation? Pressure manipulation. Edit* Could he/she create a singularity in something and expand it (Seems a bit broken, but trying to figure out the full lengths of this ability)?
Limits
Only able to change density content on physical (skin) contact. Could result in unwanted effects and once a density is changed he/she would have to restore it (it wont automatically return to normal mass). Need to consume a lot of mass (as using such an ability would severely deplete one's energy content). - He/she has to balance three different categories: Mental Stamina (Mathematical calculation behind the action), Focus (energy behind the action), and Personal Mass (Even if he/she is using focus to make up most the difference in an objects density/mass he/she still uses a small portion of their own mass to accomplish the feat).
Can you guys think of any hampers, limits, or other possible things that could come out of this ability?

This is for my SF book and would like some help with my Esper portion.
Aaricia: Telepath/Telekinesis (although it is really in-between universal plains energy she is manipulating) Helps the team with very high defense, selective physical offense, and very high offensive illusions/delusions.
Issues: Very dark past with family which engraves deep mental/emotional scars inside her mind; being a telepath she keeps pieces of every mind she touches and has to store it behind walls that can cause severe personality changes if broken(mostly causing uncontrollable frenzied rage). Mental contact overload; basically in contact with too many minds, causing her to sporadically shift her thoughts to synchronize with theirs (she thinks she is thinking what they are thinking; I kind of lost myself for a second writing that...).
Liz: Spacial Time ability (basically in it's usual de-over powered state Teleportation/Dimensional Manipulation) She basically is the teams maneuverability in most cases. She is the person who keeps the group in good positions, offensively attacks when needed and on the rare occasion full out dominates the battlefield.
Issues: Having such a (normally) incalculable ability means she has a very unstable mind. To counter act this she has been trained to separate her mind states into alternate personalities that can be shifted by saying her different nicknames. Lizaline (Most powerful and very darkly oriented); Lizi, (psychopathic glee filled state of murder); Liz, (Normal tea loving carefree girl that can take a sudden turn if her tea is spoken badly of).
Helena: Electromaster (Ability to alter, enhance, manipulate, electrons/protons, electromagnetic fields, and magnetic fields within her environment) Mainly powerhouse/strategist of the team.
Vivian (Helena's little sister): Biokinetic (Absolutely anything that has to do with biology manipulation; healing, genetic alteration, disease, anything). Vivian is basically the highest power level potential as she can alter her own dna to take on other races characteristics.
Issues: She hates killing or harming, but will do what her sister says. The biology manipulation can be really hard to stabilize and can cause delusions.
Recap:
Aaricia: Illusionist/Defensive Liz: Maneuverability Helena: Powerhouse (Offensive)/Strategist Vivian: Healer/subtle offensive
Now, what am i missing in this lineup to make it perfect?

Alright; again another one of my science fiction questions. I have been doing minuscule research on the topic, but I will tell what I have found out myself and let the experts school me on the rest.
1: It is technically impossible for humans to fly. We are simple not with the aerodynamic shape and the wings themselves would have to be over a hundred meters in length.
2: The Paragon Falcon is the fastest known creature within our world today (I don't know about the past). Although; the Anna Hummingbird can move over two hundred lengths of it's body faster than the falcon, but still is slower in clockwise speed. _______________________________________________________________________________________
Now on to my thoughts on my book.
I am allowed some leeway since it is science fiction and talking about creatures that are not exactly human.
1: To a slender human with the height of 5"2 and a wing span (can vary, maybe longer or shorter) of nearly eight meters. Rigidly bat textured(are bat textured wings meant for gliding, not flying?)
2: How far can I justify this with a difference in anatomy as in muscle fiber density, type, and/or strength.
3: Would the strength/resilience of the wings take into account anything like weight?
4: Weight can vary depending on your suggestions with muscle.
5: How would aerodynamics work with this wing shape and lugging around a human body?
I know what I ask may not be in your general expertise. I will consider any and all information you can illuminate me on.

Is there a drug that promotes aggression and detachment that has a short time duration? Within the time of my search on google the only drug that seemed a likely candidate was PCP, but it is longer lasting than what I am looking for. Can you also give me some -likely- side effects of the drug you choose, thank you.

I've read a few interesting topics about this, but I would like to know Naked Science's opinion about the topic.
I've read a few topics elsewhere depicting the eye emitting some kind of energy that our senses can pick up. From that we get the "feeling" of someone watching us.
Any thoughts?

I know it is a very strange topic, but I'm curious to which kind of walls a human body can resiliently crash through and still be in operable states.
How fast would one need to go to break through a "normal" house wall? What about a more re-enforced wall?
I guess a more important question would be how much "force" would it take to propel a human body through a wall?
I hope I am being clear enough for an answer.

As research for a Science Fiction book that I'm writing, I'm curious about drug combinations being given to the protagonist. With your knowledge what would be the effects of the combination. I know that there are some ways of figuring this out, but I am unaware of how. Your help would be appreciated. 1: Speed "methamphetamine" http://www.drugs.com/speed.html a: This would be used to keep her awake (any better alternatives?) 2: Electrolytes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolyte a: This would be used to keep her heart pumping regularly (any better alternatives?) 3: Antihemorrhagic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antihemorrhagic a: This would be used to keep her from bleeding out (any better alternatives?) 4: Topiramate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topiramate a: This would be used to keep her from thinking too clearly (any better alternatives?) What would be the effects on the body? What would be the effects on the mental state? What would be the effects on the pain receptors? What would be the effects on the emotional state? Would there be any major conflicts in medication that could cause any harm? Is there any different drug you would use that would have similar effects as the ones stated above that would work better with each other? Thank you for your support! ps: This is for a Science Fiction book I am writing. -not a creeper/psycho survey- Mod Note, Clarification of Science Fiction intent

I know that the bones are a support for the veins, tendons, and muscle. A body builder or athlete will push their muscles and bones to tear and break to strengthen them. Although, you and I can put a lot of effort into holding a pencil or minimal effort. So in essence we are only using a portion of our muscle strength, but is the body automatically holding us back so we don't damage ourselves too badly? Hurt our heart, damage organs, and rip skin? Adrenaline shuts down normal cellular activity to a minimum to bolster a high amounts of energy through oxygen and glucose right? But, I have heard extraordinary feats in which a person with their body size, weight and height shouldn't be able to accomplish. I know the reports are varying, but there has to be some truth in it. I'm just wondering if there is something more to our bodies than we give credence to? Any experts want to enlighten me?
I don't know if this is relative, but many animals and insects can lift many times their own body weight. Is it possible that a human can do the same, but we have just been evolved to the point of not needing to? Inventing tools and such thousands of years ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the binding force of atoms and subatomic particles is electromagnetism correct?
Also there are three types of charges in the subatomic levels, right? Neutral, Negative, and Positive.
The world of subatomic particles is populated with mostly neutral charged particles and once they start receiving a charge and start binding together is the result of what we can see with our eyes? Of course with the help of the electromagnetic spectrum of visible light and the particles absorbing those waves.
If one was to say neutralize the particles of say a desk where that binding factor is now neutral, would it just seem to vanish?

Is it possible to create an Ionic Force Field?

This is a theoretical question for if we make Hydrogen Cell Fuel a clean large scale energy solution.
Theoretically we would be using the ocean as we already have serious problems with fresh water supplies for meeting our living needs.
1: What will dumping all that water into the atmosphere of urban areas do? 2: What will happen in the places we take the water? 3: What about all that oxygen released when making hydrogen fuel from water and is that going to become an issue? 4: If we use this kind of solution can we power the hydrogen cell fuel process like a dam? 5: Theoretically if we were to use hydrogen cell fuel through the ocean we would have to first purify it, correct? If so could we use the movement of the boiling water as energy as well? 6: What could we do with the left over salt? Is there a way to gain energy through the left over salt?
Thank you for all the help you guys give.

I've watched more than a few movies lately that depict people who go unconscious and into a dream like state where they live nightmares of their worst imagination. In most of the show's they are then sent to a hospital where the movie's claim they can do nothing. Now, I know that the human heart can only take so much stress, but what I don't understand is how hospitals can do nothing for them in this state? As far as I can tell, they are only in a dream like state in the psyche. Don't we have drug's that can press them into a deeper mental slumber or some other means to deal with this kind of situation?

Ultraviolet: I know that the Ultraviolet spectrum is closely related to violet coloring. (Purple) What I want to know is what you would see if you were seeing through this light spectrum rather than the visible light spectrum?
Inferred: Inferred has three categories that I know of, Near, Thermal, and Far. If you could see on only one of these wave frequencies what would you see and how strong/far would the vision extend?
X Rays: I know that there are hard and soft x rays, but what would be the visual difference in seeing in these visions? Would you be able to see the bone in a more clearer picture with soft since they aren't going all the way through the bone or would that be hard?
