The Cat's prediction...
« on: 18/09/2007 11:31:50 »
A few weeks ago, i read this article on the news. It was about this cat who could predict someone's death.
This cat is just an ordinary cat who lives in an old people's place. But about 15 or 16 times try, this cat really can predict someone's death...

To be exact. By the time a person's gonna die, this cat will come up to the victim's room and he will sit by him. At this stage, it's better for you to call all of your family member because in 2 hours, the victim will die...
This sounds really spooky because what if this cat suddenly comes up to you side?

This is really an abnormal behavior especially for an ordinary cat. But to predict someone's death???
It is quite amazing..

i think sometimes cats and other animals can smell something going wrong. that's an uneducated guess, but it's what i think. last year my aunt's cat, who has always been the type of cat to try to ignore humans, jumped on her couch and onto my lap and started sniffing me all over and then kept pawing at my stomach. that was pretty weird. then he laid down directly on top of me with his head on my stomach and stayed there for several hours. the next morning i had a miscarriage.

I agree with you kadie My moms dog was like that with my mom before she died also way out of norm for her. Then after she passed she wouldnt leave the bed under my moms arm she whined and cried for weeks and we had to let her sleep with my moms clothing as she would not eat for several days. It was very said! She just morned forever but she also knew in advance my mom was dying! She would not leave her side!

As you say, cats have a very good sense of smell.  I would have no doubt that the cat could smell hormone changes evident in your sweat.

There is also evidence that gasses such as ethane can be used to detect when a patient is suffering from infections, or otherwise under stress (at levels that may not necessarily be clinically apparent).  It could be that cats can smell this too.
