This may just be me but i've started to notice a connection between dreaming and needing the loo while asleep. I often find when i wake up from a dream its often because i need the loo is this just coincidence or is there something more to it?

I don't know but I have found the same true in many instances. I can't say every time but some! Welcome!

it may be because we don't often remember our dreams unless we're woken in the middle of them. perhaps you only remember the dream because your body woke you up and said "HEY GO PEE!"

It's because your body is still communicating with your brain while you are asleep. Your brain shoves the sensation into your dream because that's the only way to get your attention if you're sleeping.

Well, I suppose your brain could make you poke yourself in the ribs, but that's just plain daft.

I've had that so many times...........you only need to rush if you haven't got the rubber sheets on the bed ;)

LOL..There are many reasons for this I suppose. I always have to go when I wake up, but I

have not always been dreaming before it happened. Dreams are interesting.

There is a book called, "The Dictionary of dreams and their meanings," "Interpretation and

insights into therapeutic nature of our dreams."Its written by Richard craze.. You may

really enjoy the reading and learn a lot about it. It is written in easy to understand

terms and it is fascinating really!

Are you sure the "significant discovery" wasn't just morning glory?  :o

Any reason why it couldn't be both?

I guess on a similar note i was thinking how sometimes you can hear a radio or alarm clock going off in your dream. Sometimes I have the words spouted from an early morning dj but in my dream they are from somebody else. I guess thats just another sign of your body not being fully dead to the world.
