If you have trouble pronouncing Rs, then saying "RANK" can be a problem.

AH... there's another 1 - Rs/Arse  :D

What about saw (which itself has two meaning - a tool, and the past tense of see) and sore (not exact homophones).
Or while we are on twos and foures, what about eight and ate and similar (but not exact homophone) hate.
Or bate and bait.
Or no and know.
Or ware and wear.
Or waste and waist.
Or meter and metre.
