Gotta love them - without them we probably would not exists as they are triploblastic and bilaterally symetrical. With out the ectoderm, we'd fall apart.

Have you heard that if you took all other matter away, apart from nematodes,you would still see the shape of everything that existed, ie. all the mountains, animals etc. because they're so full of nematodes?

 I've heard of a nematode fanatic who infested himself by swallowing nematode eggs. After a few weeks he starved himself for a couple of days to see if he could persuade them to emerge. Nothing happened so on the third day he was having breakfast in a hotel and, before he could take a mouthful, a large nematode squeezed itself out of his nose and dived into his cereal, causing several fellow guests in the restaurant to faint!
