Any computer gamers out there?

What kinds of game you have?

I myself have a whole bunch of simulation games. I love em can't get enough.

1.) The Sims Complete Collection (was the best back in its day)

2.) The Sims 2 (currently the best life simulator)
a.) (Expansions) University
b.) Pets
c.) Night-Life

3.) Microsoft flight simulator x (if you ask me the best flight simlulator game you can get, cuz it sure did cost enough hah)

I'll get some picutures to post the graphics.

Hola stranger. I mostly play flash games, it's a pain to slog through a thousand of them to fine one good one, though.

Why you want to be playing with rocket propelled grenades, or is that the report program generator language you are programming in.

As for taking pride in your skill with a joystick - first understand what a joy stick is (or what it was before WWI pilots tried to think of something to call the stick that came up between their legs).

RPG: role playing game, examples include final fantasy, enchanted arms, star wars: knights of the old republic. there are also MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role playing games) which include world of warcraft, runescape, maplestory, and 2nd life but i dont bother with MMORPGs

and by joystick i hope you mean the stick they used to control the aircraft

I love my joystick :)

thats nice dude (+_+)

RPG: role playing game

Yes, I knew - it was tongue in cheek - because RPG is a massively overloaded TLA.

and by joystick i hope you mean the stick they used to control the aircraft

It is what the word came to mean, but it was previously used to mean something else that stuck up between the legs (and could bring 'joy').  The term was used by analogy (and possibly as the instructors were trying to persuade their pupils the handle the stick gently).

I don't normally play games on the PC but only last week I bought a new Graphics card, a Gforce 8500 pci-e with 1gb on board memory and have been testing it for games in Linux using openGL.

I was using the on-board 250mb Gforce 6200 graphics but changing cards has made a great difference so perhaps performance is now mainly down to the graphics gpu and not so much the pc.

I like the old fashioned? SP shootemups like Doom3 and Quake4 and a dedicated Linux one called Saurebraten (cube2 engine).

Others that I have enjoyed playing in Windows in the past were adventure games. Broken Sword 1 & 2 I enjoyed as they were challenging, sometimes annoying but fun.

the best game for PC that Ive played was half life 2, which i need to get to half life 3....the funny thing was when i beat it i was in fourth grade and it was downloaded on one of the computers

for console i would have to say chromehounds without a doubt. i like the ability to build your own custom made mech and join a squad just to blow other squads up, that and theres nothing like launching 8 napalm bombs on a stationary base just to watch it burn to the ground

You don't have Halo 3? Do you have Call of Duty 4? Oh, and DMC 4 is awesome.

Buy CoD 4 before Halo 3, it's better.

Depends on how fast you play. ;) CoD 4's is only 6 hours. Mass Effect's is thirty hours, without the side missions.
