I have heard that the moon is slowing moving away from us, is there any way this could cause global warming

The moon has been moving away from the Earth since it was first formed, yet the Earth has gone through many cycles of warming and cooling, and although we are presently in a warming phase, the Earth is far from the warmest it has been in the geological past, so it would seem implausible to consider the Moon's recession from the Earth to have a dominant effect upon the Earth's global temperature.
