How Does Our Sight Deteriorate As We Age ?
« on: 16/02/2008 01:05:34 »
Dear Ocular and Aural Experts,

As we get older our hearing loses it's ability to process certain frequencies yes ?

Does the same apply to sight ?

I am not referring to short and long sightedness......I am referring to the ability to process the visual spectrum....

Does a rainbow, when I'm twenty look as vivid as when I'm eighty ?

whajafink ?

Enjoy these ears with eyes in them.

The main loss of colour with age is, as far as I am aware, due to cataract; although there may also be some changes in the fluid within the eye that may have a similar effect.
