My good Doctor Beaver, I believe we are dealing with two very confuse individuals, one quite young and one a woman - of whose gender a male can never expect anything - even consistence, except when the consistency is of the nature of being seriously deleterious to the male.

Indubitably, the verity of your statement is beyond question.

So you like being poked.. And you want to be JimBob's assistant..

Worrying?

I have nothing to say. I am just an innocent bystander in this whole affair.

Ooops oops oops.. I meant DoctorBeaver's Assistant ;D

What actually would you assist me with? Mucking out the horses? Keeping the dogs under control? Murdering the brats?
You are a very demented man(?).

What's demented about that?  ???
I think he meant my thinking about how I made the assumption about how Make it Lady likes being poked, and that she wants to be DoctorBeaver's assistant.. I think
No, about murdering the brats.

There is such a thing as a dictionary - I would suggest that you have your parents invest in the Oxford Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language. Mine is a monstrosity - all volumes compressed into two huge tomes (well over 50 pounds in weight) with a magnifying glass that comes with it to read the words - BUT there is GREAT news - this dictionary is now available on CD!

Sorry meant to type reading. I'm really tired tonight what with the brats being ill all week with faringitus (don't care if I spelt it wrong), the rabbit pegging it and me running around like R2D2 looking after them all.

Poetry and Reading are odd bedfellows except in a Slough-ish, Betjemanesque way.

My friend was trying to understand a very rude old poem and wanyed to know what a 'nard in the fire' was and it was in this dictionary. Can't remember if I've spelt it correctly.

This is one of the pleasures of the OXFORD UNAB. - All the dirty words and phrases since just after Chaucer - and some of the others from that era - are all included. My, my, my, were some poets rather crude- And Doctor Johnson - for shame, sir, for shame!

Get some culture boy!

Apparently (according to Terry Wogan) there is a white van going around London with Beaver Maintenance and Service written on the side!
