That time again where we spring 1 hour into the future as British Summertime begins Sunday at 01:00 GMT.

So don't forget to set the clocks tonight.

Early to bed me thinks.. ;)

When does your Summertime begin if outside the UK? if you have such a thing.

I have never worried about setting my clocks.

My watch will probably stay on GMT throughtout the summer.  My car clock has been 11 minutes ahead of BST throughtout the winter, and the clocks on my cooker and microwave have also been on BST throughout the winter.  My bathroom clock generally has a mind of its own.  The other clocks sort themselves out without my having to do a thing.

No not at all. I have always had children and sometimes that causes unexpected delays.. But mostly it does not bother me.. unless it is for something really specific like an appointment or something.. official like that.. Socially i am fine if someone shows late or doesn't show.. it happens and I don't like guilting people about it as they usually already feel plenty bad enough without me adding to it!

My Mum was terrible. I was late for every appointment I ever had because my mum was incapable of being on time. She had no reason to be late other than she left everything to the last minute. She was always late for work and as the nurse she was replacing had to wait until she arrived in order to do 'hand over' I think this was so bad. People used to call her the late Mrs Mayer.

I'm so paranoid about being late that I'm always far too early....thanks Mum.

WE always tell my niece to be ready 45 minutes before it is time to go. Then she may be on time.

AIUI, all of the EU synchronise the date they switch clocks over.

It used to be that the UK switched in one direction with the US, and the other direction with the rest of Europe; but now we do it both ways with the EU.

However silly all this clock changing is, it becomes even sillier when countries such as Israel do it, since there is very little different in the hours of daylight between summer and winter in Israel.

I'm often alone and therefore talking to myself comes naturally. Being a freelancer can send you loopy so excuse my idiosyncrasies.
