Neil, little white sheepy, it is a fish - a complex life form.

The oldest fossil is about as simple as you are - one celled, with delusions of grandeur! and about 3.4 or 3.5 billion years old. This mere youngster pictured above is only about 1/7th that age - 500 million years old.
