One account of the band's naming, which has become almost legendary, has it that Keith Moon and John Entwistle suggested that a possible supergroup containing themselves, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck would go down like a lead zeppelin, a term Entwistle used to describe a bad gig. The group deliberately dropped the 'a' in Lead at the suggestion of their manager, Peter Grant, to prevent "thick Americans" from pronouncing it as "leed".

lolololol

Ben - leave it. It is a cat fight amongst the women. You did nothing. As an adult male having tried it before - DO NOT, repeat DO NOT get between two women who are after each other. They will turn in unison, claw you to death, then go back to fighting amongst themselves.

Just stand clear as far away as possible.

As far as I know, I am the only woman involved in the fight and I wasn't even fighting, I was flouncing off. Turnipsock is not female and Ben is not female. Turnipsock is at present stealing my comments, embroidering them and then passing them off as his own. It is happening on Beaverland as well I note. Turnipsock, just because I am your fan club secretary doesn't mean you can use me so horribly, you cad you.

Impudent brat! Wrong gender, stupid.

Go floss the wire things the orthodontist put on your crooked teeth so I can beat them out of your head when you grow up. I am not into child abuse.
