Genki desu ka?
« on: 21/04/2008 20:36:53 »
I'm back! Had a great time in Japan. I went back to my old haunts and a few people recognised me even after 20 years. The boys loved it and want to go back. I hope I don't have to wait another 20 years before I go again. Had a lovely time in the Onsen (hot spring) outdoor by a lake, where I really did become the naked lady. Murray bought tonnes of old retro games consoles, which he collects, from the electronics centre, Akiharbara. Freddy took great pleasure in the temples as he had only ever seen them in computer games. We all did very well on the diet, eating raw chicken, chicken tails, fish on a stick and curry filled doughnut. I did find the sauce with the consistency of snot and a thing that resembled a shrivelled up pear but had gunge and black hooks in it. We packed in so much because we had a Shinkansen rail pass. I will try to post some pictures when the jet lag has gone.

Welcome Home
Coheed and Cambria

You could've been all I wanted
But you weren't honest
Now get in the ground
You choked off the surest of favors
But if you really loved me
You would've endured my world

Well you're just as I presumed
A w**** in sheep's clothing
F****** up all I do
And if it's here we stop
Then never again
Will you see this in your life?

Hang on to the glory at my right hand
Here laid to rest is our love ever longed?
With truth on the shores of compassion
You seem to take premise to all of these songs

You stormed off to scar the armada
Like Jesus played letter,
I'll drill through your hands
The stone for the curse you have blamed me
With love and devotion, I'll die as you sleep
But if you could just write me out
To neverless wonder... happy will I become
Be true that this is no option,
So with sin I condemn you
Demon play, demon out!

Hang on to the glory at my right hand
Here laid to rest is our love ever longed?
With truth on the shores of compassion
You seem to take premise to all of these songs

One last kiss for you
One more wish to you
Please make up your mind girl...
I'd do anything for you
One last kiss for you
One more wish to you
Please make up your mind girl...
Before I hope you die

I believe that there a song lyrics to go with anything

Tokyo from our room.

Hiroshima peace park. You can see the building that didn't get knocked down, as it was under the blast, in the distance.

Murray by a temple

Me and Fred by a mountain temple. Gorillas in the mist!

Cable car ride that takes in sulphur spring boiled eggs!

It was an appartment and it was cheaper than two rooms in a hotel for the 4 of us. I only know that much as my husband does the money. I'm a spend-a-holic so don't do any of that.
