Infections
« on: 15/10/2004 04:50:23 »
Hi everybody...
I have a question about infections. What is an infection actually?  What causes it? Why do people get cancer and heart attacks from infections.  If anybody could answer these questions for me, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have read a short PDF paper which could give you some answers. This paper attract my attention because it's a classic publication but with some humour touch. I appreciate when serious things are explained with less amount of boring accademic fashion.

Infection is the introduction of a biological organism into or onto the body of a host. Infections are caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi.
