how many minutes it took before i could stop throwing up after reading this line from some cheap romance novel by Barbara Courtland. HOW PUTRID AND FOUL!

86 was the year I met my husband. He was going to be my boss and I would be his lab assistant. When he arrived I seem to remember telling him to "get lost you spotty creep" but I could hear violins in the background and a booming voice saying " You will marry this man and you will have his children."

I have to disagree. Windows 2000 was worse. At least 95 worked(ish).

And you obviously don't remember CP/M or MSDOS.
