76

In 1976 I was 10 years old and my 20 year old brother went to Australia with the British Boys Movement. He paid 10 for his flight and did not have to pay anymore money as long as he stayed there for 2 years. He is now 52 and still lives in Australia.

83 - is the sum of three consecutive primes (23 + 29 + 31) as well as the sum of five consecutive primes (11 + 13 + 17 + 19 + 23).

It is also the 23rd prime number, following 79 and preceding 89. 83 is a Sophie Germain prime and a safe prime, and also a Chen prime. It is an Eisenstein prime with no imaginary part and real part of the form 3n − 1.

It is also a highly cototient number.

(I haven't a clue what any of that means. I nicked it from Wikipedia.)

86 was the year I met my husband. He was going to be my boss and I would be his lab assistant. When he arrived I seem to remember telling him to "get lost you spotty creep" but I could hear violins in the background and a booming voice saying " You will marry this man and you will have his children."
