Aids

Jonas Salk worked on the Aids vaccine and Elizabeth Taylor worked on fund raising for Aids.

PS. My mum looks like Liz Taylor!

Come on Doc, lets make this interesting - as below.

KEYWORD: amphibious

Zachary Taylor => Dwight D. Eisenhower

During the Mexican-American War, the first large scale amphibious landing in American history took place on the beaches outside the walls of Veracruz, where there then ensued the Siege (and surrender) of Veracruz, leading to the closing of Mexico's major port and the collapse of the Mexican Army - thus the victory over Mexico and the addition of what is now New Mexico, Arizona, California and parts of Colorado and Utah to the US territories.

Eisenhower, of course, had a "slight" involvement in thee Normandy Invasion and the subsequent defeat of Germany.

More interesting, eh? OK - Sylvester Stallone.

Dwight D. Eisenhower was American. The American national emblem is the bald eagle. When the first moon landing took place, the phrase "The eagle has landed" was used. Neil Amstrong was the first man on the moon. Vic Armstrong was a stuntman who worked a lot with Rocky Taylor. The "Rocky" series of films starred Sylvester Stallone.

Dwight D. Eisenhower->America->bald eagle->eagle has landed->Neil Armstrong->Rocky Taylor->Rocky->Sylvester Stallone

How's that for convuluted!  [^]

Actually, that is seven links. According to your rules only one link is to be used.

"convuluted" is correctly spelled "convoluted"

The intent was for obscure connections, not convoluted ones.

So, FOLLOWING THE RULES. I offer:

"Sex on-screen"

Sylvester Stallone (The Italian Stallion - http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1802815594/info) => Marlon Brando (Last Tango in Paris)

The Stallone movie was just a porn flick. Brando's movie was an "art" film.

Native Americans

Marlon Brando was an active member of the American Indian Movement. I'm linking him with Chief Sitting Bull, who was a Native American.

Marlon Brando>>>>Chief Sitting Bull

Obscure enough Jim?
